Ascend Smarter Intervention

Corey was a previous client who regularly came back updates and creating new pages on her site. Her Squarespace website served her well for many years but as the learning clinic continued to scaling, Ascend found that their ideal client had changed and evolved. Corey found that the copy and content on Ascend’s website was no longer speaking to their ideal audience. Instead of updating and making what was already created work, she decided to do a complete overhaul so that we could do it right. This also allowed us to update her website from the Squarespace 7.0 platform to the newest Fluid Engine 7.1 platform.

With over 10 pages and 200 blog posts to move over, we quoted Corey for a custom package. With this package, instead of starting with one of our templates, we start everything from scratch and create a one-of-a-kind design. Because custom projects take 8-12 weeks, we usually only take 1 custom project a year. We find most of our clients don’t need a custom site and can benefit from our Template Setup package.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

In addition to re-working the navigation of the website to make it as user-friendly as possible, Corey and her team worked on re-working the copy and content of the website to better reach and connect with their newly found ideal clients. We had a few calls to discuss some sales page copy they got stumped on. It was a true team effort!

I began on the homepage mockup design and tweaked the branding colors to be more in line with Corey’s new vision. Corey wanted a site that looked more corporate and had lots of white space. All of the websites she sent us for inspiration had one thing in common - rounded corners! That was the thing that inspired her whole site.

Corey had some amazing photos to work with that really made her new website come to life. The end result was a website that looks nothing like their original website but also truly fit their already established and well-recognized brand.
